Emmy Award Winning Pet School

For most people, the hot summer of 2012 meant one thing: the London Olympics.

For me, while London filled with the world’s top athletes, I found myself on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by pets of every variety.

The result was Pet School, a show for CBBC that allowed children to ‘test drive’ a whole host of potential pets and discover which was a good fit for them.

I developed and wrote this series, which went on to win an International Emmy. The entire experience was a pleasure, with a great team behind the scenes.

The experience was repeated the following summer when I wrote season 2.
